Melinda Moore is a social entrepreneur, a seasoned digital marketer and a frequent speaker at leading technology conferences. With over 15 years as a leader in start-ups (two exits) and Fortune 500 companies, Melinda combines her passion and experience in health & sustainability, female empowerment, tech & digital media. Her work has been widely recognized by Digital LA (Top 50 Digital Women in 2015), the Green Business Bureau and the National Association of Women Business Owners’ Hall of Fame.
She has led digital strategy and integrated marketing campaigns for some of the world’s most prominent consumer and cause-related brands, including: Obama for America, Netflix, YouTube, USA Networks, Ford, LIVESTRONG, and Sony.
Her passion for health and the environment inspired her to create and co-found LovingEco, an e-commerce platform offering eco-friendly fashion choices — a huge success promoted by tastemakers and celebrities across the U.S. (including Maria Bello, Amy Smart and Randi Zuckerberg). LovingEco was subsequently acquired by Patron and Paul Mitchell founder John Paul DeJoria in 2012, and the company received The Visionary Award by the Green Business Bureau. Melinda then went on to co-found TuesdayNights, which is a sell-out success among high-performing female professionals, and is sponsored by Deloitte, Google, TriNet and UBS Bank.
Prior to co-founding TuesdayNights, Melinda served as the Senior Vice President for Entertainment Media Ventures, overseeing media investment, talent negotiations and strategic consulting services. Leveraging her passion for green technology, she secured top media partners and corporate sponsors for Solar Impulse’s historic solar-powered flight across America, which garnered over eight billion media impressions in partnership with Yahoo!, Google, Discovery Channel and Participant Media. Through strategic partnerships, she led the business acceleration of technology companies including ACTV8, AlphaBird, Buddy Media, The Mother Nature Network, Milyoni, Sonic Notify and ThingLink. At EMV, she secured and negotiated talent deals for the Ford Motor Company, including Ryan Seacrest, Jimmy Fallon, Denis Leary, Devinsupertramp, John Slattery and Hank Azaria.
Melinda is an active role model for entrepreneurs and recently wrote the book How to Raise Money: The Ultimate Guide to Crowdfunding which is available on Amazon. In 2016, she created and launched the show DRIVEN which features female game changers in fashion, technology, health and doing good. Melinda graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Psychology. She serves on the board of the non-profit organization A Sense of Home, which helps young adults who have aged out of foster care.
